For those who want to extend their biking adventures, Inverness is located just half an hour away from the world-famous Cabot Trail. Celtic Shores Coastal Trail

This exceptional 92-kilometre (57-mile) trail system meanders along the coast from Inverness to Port Hastings, with an easily accessed entrance at the south end of town. Experience the awe-inspiring natural beauty and vibrant Celtic culture of our region, as well as fishing harbours, warm-water beaches, great pubs, and some of the best live music anywhere—hands down. The Cabot Trail

Featuring dramatic ocean views and highland scenery, The Cabot Trail has been described as one of the world’s top bicycle rides. Its breathtaking coastal topography presents some wonderful challenges for cyclists and rewards riders with many memorable vistas. Take on a portion or all of the challenging Cabot Trail, a 298-kilometre (185-mile) road carved into the edge of the jaw-dropping Cape Breton Highlands. Climb up through old growth forests before a thrilling descent down to the coastline.
