If you require a cart for medical reasons, we do have a few on hand. Just be sure to book the cart well in advance, as we have a limited number of carts available. (Booking the cart at the same time you book your round and lodging is ideal). A medical certificate is required and a caddie must drive the cart.
Caddies at Cabot are self-employed. We will certainly do our utmost to accommodate your caddie requests, but we cannot guarantee availability, as there is a very high demand for our caddie service. In order to maximize your chance of securing a caddie for your round, we recommend booking your caddie at the same time you book your round and lodging.
A Caddies – Carry your bag and provide assistance with alignment, club selection, yardages, pin placement, and putting; $60 + gratuity per round
B Caddies – Carry your bag; $45 + gratuity per round
Forecaddies – Provide course knowledge for your entire group (but will not tend to an individual golfer’s clubs); $80 + gratuity per round
Practice Range & Shuttle Service
Our practice range is located at Cabot Cliffs, which is about a five-minute drive from the Lodge. We offer a complimentary shuttle service to and from Cabot Cliffs every 15 minutes of every day for your convenience. If you’d like to visit the practice range before a round at Cabot Links, please factor in the extra few minutes of travel time.
While we know that you won’t want to cancel, in the unfortunate event you must, our policy allows non-resort guests to cancel 72 hours prior to a tee time without penalty. Resort guests booked to stay with us at the Lodge have up to 24 hours prior to their scheduled tee time to cancel without fee. The penalty for late cancellation is 100% of the golf rate as scheduled.
Golfers who have booked a caddie must cancel 24 hours in advance or they will be charged the full caddie rate.
Weather Cancellation Policy
The course only shuts down in the event of lightning. While we won’t refund a round due to rainy weather as playing with the elements is a big part of links golf, we will try our best to accommodate by rearranging tee times on the day.
