"Cabot
Links, Nova Scotia:
Long considered Canada's
answer to Royal Dornoch,
Highlands Links may soon
have a worthy complement on
Cape Breton Island. Canadian
Rod Whitman has been hired
to design a Scottish-style
course called Cabot Links on
rugged coastline along the
Gulf of St. Lawrence. The
land, once a coal mine, has
been described as one of the
last great untapped sites
for golf. The course is due
to open next year." |
